When you create an account we collect your name, email, date of birth, username, dance role, and skill level. You may also optionally add a profile photo, bio, location, and social links. When you interact with events or other members (attending, posting, following) we store that activity to display it in the platform.
We use your information to build your profile, show you relevant events and dancers, enable social features, verify your age, and keep the community safe. When you create an account you are automatically subscribed to our newsletter and added to our leads list so we can send you event announcements and marketing emails. We do not sell your personal data.
Your profile and posts are visible to other members by default. You can set your profile to private at any time, which limits your content to accepted followers only. Event attendance also has a per-event privacy toggle.
The platform uses cookies and analytics to keep you logged in and to understand how features are used. These do not identify you personally to third parties.
You can edit or delete your content at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and personal data from the platform, in accordance with our retention policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will prompt you to re-accept the revised version the next time you log in.
